Charlotte Hochman
Director, Wow!Labs
Charlotte creates collectives, movements and physical spaces that enable innovation and creativity. These can be pop-up or permanent, and are often created for cities, universities, the private or third sectors and governments, through the innovation studio Wow!Labs which she co-founded in 2011. Charlotte also designs and directs artistic projects for these spaces, to start conversations on urgent topics and catalyze social innovation locally.
An award-winning innovator, Charlotte specialises in interculturality and VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity), creating level playing fields for people to act and innovate in complex contexts.
Charlotte designs, starts and contributes to artistic propositions that centre emergent conversations and experimentation at their core. She focuses on bringing together disciplines, art forms and profiles that do not usually meet, in order to create new perspectives on urgent topics.
Charlotte also created PLACE network in 2016, a project linking migration to innovation in Europe and La Ruche in 2007, the first coworking space in Paris and an incubator for social innovation.
