Ka Man Mak, a British-born Hong Konger and award-winning investigative journalist, founded The Oslo Desk where she leverages different journalistic, systems thinking and trauma-informed approaches to transform Norwegian media by portraying racialized immigrant communities more accurately and completely. Her passion lies on building inclusive, compassionate and safe spaces, where each individual can thrive and find their own sense of being.

Ka Man is completing a 3-year investigation ‘Behind Closed Doors’ looking at the intersection of gender-based violence, family law, racism, and Norway's refuge system. She is also a 3x podcast host for TODcast, They Witness and She Witness.
