Jonathan has a background in physics studying both at undergraduate (MPhys) and postgraduate level (PhD). He spent nearly 5 years in Cambridge working in the Materials department where the basis for the Materials Nexus technology was conceived and spun out. He is the maiden CEO of Materials Nexus and has a strong interest in computing, materials, manufacturing and biology. Materials Nexus received pre-seed funding from Carbon13 a venture builder run by Chris Coleridge and a number of other angel investors and accelerators and is currently scaling to deliver against product demand. Jonathan also advises and mentors in a number of settings both commercially and academically.
